Mumbai: Retired Air India in-flight manager goes missing in Powai

Mumbai: A 63-year-old retired in-flight manager of Air India has gone missing from Powai since January 25. The man Jayaram Reddy is suffering from Alzheimer, said his daughter Duhita Reddy.

“I never leave my father alone. On January 25 night, I had gone to IIT market with my parents. My father was with us till 9:30 pm. Suddenly we realised that he is not with us. We started to search him whole night but we could not trace him,” said Duhita.

His missing complaint has been registered at Powai police station. With the help of police several CCTV footages have been scrutinised and the elderly man has been seen walking on the road but the investigators have still not got any traceable lead.

“I have informed my relatives and friends about my father’s missing. I have also put up his photograph with valid cell numbers on social media requesting netizens to help us tracing my missing father,” she said. He was last seen at Ansa Industrial Estate, Block D, Chandivali in Powai. His daughter said Jayaram does not keep cell phone with him as he is suffering from Alzheimer.
