In fact, since 8:00 AM, the city has been observing right from heavy rains to waterlogging in many areas and it looks like rains are not in the mood to stop at all.

The city is likely to see intermittent rains through the day which will vary in intensity from being heavy in many parts to moderate showers in others. There is likely to be some break in between but even then, rains will continue in many parts today. In fact, Santa Cruz has already recorded 108 mm of rain in last three hours and more three digit rains in some parts also cannot be ruled out.

These Mumbai rains have stopped movements at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport. While no flights have been cancelled so far, at least three of them have been diverted. Visibility due to these rains has also reduced resulting in flight delays even further. So far, none of the flights have bene cancelled.

Areas including SV Road, JVLR, Western Express Highway and many other parts remain water logged making normal life extremely difficult on a Monday morning. Commuters remain stuck due to water logging in many parts, making it almost impossible for them to go to work.

Mumbai Rains will continue today with expected breaks in between as has been said before as well. Since many areas are waterlogged, plan your travel accordingly.
