Mumbai: Railway official steals mobile left at ticket counter, gets slapped by woman

A woman named Nandini Belekar thrashed a railway official for stealing a mobile phone of a commuter.

The chances of theft and robbery increase when one travel through trains. And so, posters and alert messages are stuck in trains and stations. A timely announcement in trains, as well as the station, are also made to keep people safe and alert about their belongings.

However, in a recent turn of event, a woman named Nandini Belekar thrashed a railway official for stealing a mobile phone of a commuter. Nandini had come to the ticket counter of Mumbai Central station, where she mistakenly forgot her mobile phone at the ticket window after taking her ticket. Upon realising about her missing phone, she came back enquiring about it and asked about it to Sr ACC Manoj Jaiswal, who was sitting at the ticket counter.

He denied seeing any phone. Suspecting that he is lying, Nandini stormed into the cabin and checked the pockets of the official. Jaiswal had removed the SIM card of the phone which was found in his pocket. Furious Nandini, slapped the official three-four times while one of the passengers standing there recorded the incident and uploaded it on social media.
