Mumbai: Police on look out for Parel ‘Spider Man’

Mumbai: An unknown man performed dangerous stunts at Parel by jumping from one building to another. In a video that has gone viral on Tuesday, the man was seen jumping from one building to another straight out of a science-fiction ‘Spiderman’ movie. In a 15 minute video that has gone viral, the man is seen taking somersaults from one end of a terrace of a building to the others. The stunt was performed at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar road at Parel close to Prabhadevi railway station.

Diwakar Shelke, senior police inspector, Dadar railway police station said, “We have received information that the person who performed the stunt is a foreigner. His identity is not yet to known. We are inquiring the incident. Once the identity is known, we shall book the person and necessary action will take against him.”

On September 4, three persons who performed Kiki challenge in a stationary local train at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus were arrested by the Railway Police Force. On August 3, the Mumbai police had issued a warning on its Twitter handle cautioning the public from trying stunts by participating in the Kiki challenge.

The Mumbai police had started a campaign on Twitter to deter the citizens from performing risky stunts which could be fatal. The Mumbai Police had posted a tweet in August, “We love your safety and cannot leave it to be decided by Kiki. Kiki is bored of her challenge. Stop it and get into the car.”
