Mumbai: PMC sees 20 new cases of Covid on July 11

In the last 10 days, there has been a sharp drop in new cases under the Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC), leading to a drop in the number of active cases.

In the last 10 days, there has been a sharp drop in new cases under the Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC), leading to a drop in the number of active cases. The number of active cases dropped to just 243 from 732.

A total of 20 new cases were reported on Monday, July 11. The civic body saw a sharp rise in new cases during June and there was a 10-time rise in active cases. On July 11, a total of 47 patients were discharged.

There is a drop reported across all wards. At present, the Kharghar node has 108 active cases, followed by Kalamboli 38, and New Panvel 30 of Covid. Taloja node, which had zero cases for almost three months, has only 4 active cases.

The recovery rate under the PMC has 98.29. So far, 1416 people have lost their lives due to infections.
