Mumbai: Congress president Rahul Gandhi has been denied permission to hold a rally at Shivaji Park on March 1. Unlike the Shiv Sena and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, which seem to have their way, the Congress president found it was an uphill task and now the rally will be held on MMRDA grounds.
Responding to the move, Ashok Chavan said, “All parties are given permission to hold rallies at this venue, why single us out?”
