Mumbai: This year’s Mumbai Marathon lacked the regular sparkle as many A-listers skipped the marathon. However, regulars like Milind Soman, Mandira Bedi, Kunal Kapoor, Rahul Bose and others, did make their presence felt. While Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis gave it a skip, Maharashtra Governor Vidyasagar Rao flagged off the marathon.

Yet another addition to this celeb list was Kajal Aggarwal. After finishing her marathon, she said, “It was quite a fun participating in the marathon. The crowd was very supportive. It is difficult to run. It is not like running in the treadmill. I am not a runner basically. This is record for me.”

After completion of the race, Bedi, while talking to reporters, said, “The 10 km race was introduced for the first time. I have been part of the marathon in the past.” For Bedi, running came to her life very late. “It was after my son that I started running. During my weight loss journey, I started running,” she added. While, Soman, a regular marathon runner, said, “I enjoyed the race. It was a pleasant experience. I am running to promote my cause Pinkathon.”
