Mumbai: A major accident was averted on Sunday afternoon on Wai-Panchgani road, after a four wheeler was on the verge of falling in the valley. The Ford car, which had a senior citizen lady with four minor kids on board, suddenly took a drastic turn and luckily stopped on the verge of the valley.
The driver of the car took a very timely decision of applying brakes otherwise it would have turned out to be a tragic incident. The local police reached the spot on time and also called in the cranes and rescue operations team to safely rescue the passengers of the car.
