Maharashtra sees 8,535 new COVID-19 cases, 156 deaths, 6,013 recoveries
Maharashtra on Sunday reported 8,535 fresh coronavirus positive cases and 156 fatalities while 6,013 patients recovered, the state health department said.
With the fresh additions, the tally of cases in Maharashtra rose to 61,57,799 and the toll to 1,25,878. The total count of recoveries so far climbed to 59,12,479, leaving the state with 1,16,165 active cases, it said in a statement.

Mumbai: 555 fresh Covid cases reported in city on Sunday
The city reported 555 new Covid cases on Sunday, taking the total tally to 7,27,696. The maximum city also recorded 15 deaths due to the virus in the last 24 hours, pushing its cumulative case count to 15,627 as per data released by the BMC.
A total of 666 patients recovered and were discharged on Sunday, taking the recovery count to 7,02,376. Now, there are 7,354 active cases in the city. Meanwhile, the doubling rate in the city has increased to 928 days, while the weekly growth rate has declined to 0.07%.

Water cut or low supply on Tuesday in 3 wards
BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has warned of a scarcity in water supply on Tuesday in some areas of Mumbai. The civic body, on Sunday, stated that water supply will be cut off or will be at low pressure from 10 am to 10 pm in some areas in western suburbs, including Juhu, VileParle, Santacruz, Khar and Andheri.
