NITI Aayog officials meet Maha CM; assure positive approach on Kanjurmag Metro-3 car shed issue
Top office-bearers of the NITI Aayog held a meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray here, during which a host of issues, including the proposed construction of a car shed for Metro-3 at Kanjurmarg in Mumbai, were discussed.
The meeting took place at 'Sahyadri' guest house in south Mumbai on Tuesday.
NITI Aayog vice-chairman Dr Rajiv Kumar, CEO Amitabh Kant and its member Ramesh Chand held talks with Thackeray, an official statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said.

Suspended Regional Transport Officer Gajendra Patil, who had levelled charges of corruption and misconduct against Maharashtra minister Anil Parab and several other high-ranking officials in the state transport department earlier this year, has approached the Bombay High Court seeking an independent probe against them.
A bench of Justices S S Shinde and N J Jamadar said on Wednesday that it will hear the plea on October 8.

The Bombay High Court on Wednesday said the Union government's policy of not issuing a No Obligation to Return to India (NORI) certificate to medical degree holders wishing to obtain a Green Card in the US, cannot be made applicable to research scholars who don't intend to practice medicine.
A division bench of Justices R D Dhanuka and R I Chagla has directed the Centre to issue a NORI certificate to 27-year-old Avani Vaishnav within five weeks.
Porn scam: Supplementary charge sheet against Raj Kundra filed
The Mumbai Police's Crime Branch on Wednesday filed a voluminous supplementary charge sheet in the pornography content case against businessman Raj Kundra, the husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.
Kundra, 45, was arrested on July 19 in the sensational case in which there are several other accused, and the charge sheet running into around 1,500 pages, has been lodged before a Mumbai magistrate court.
