Maharashtra govt issues notification prohibiting hospitals to charge inflated prices from black fungus patients
Days after it cracked the whip on private hospitals, prohibiting them from exorbitantly charging COVID patients, Maharashtra government has now issued a notification capping hospital rates charged to treat black fungus patients. The government has capped hospital rates on the basis of the cities they are located in – Class A or B or C.
