On Sunday, a 45-year-old man was stopped and robbed by two motorcyclists in Powai. The two motorcyclists robbed him of his children’s school fees.
According to Mumbai Mirror, the victim was identified as Munna Noormohammad Khan (45). The incident took place on Sunday when Khan was walking home and the two motorcyclists stopped him and asked for identification papers. Thinking that they were security officials, Khan removed his wallet, after which the pillion rider grabbed it
After the pillion rider grabbed Khan’s wallet to check his ID, the other man diverted his attention by talking to him. Later, the man returned Khan’s wallet and rode off. Afterwards, when Khan checked his wallet, he realised that Rs 20,000 was missing, which were for his children’s education. Khan immediately approached the police. Khan told cops that the two were aged between 25 and 32 and wearing casual clothes. However, Khan could not note down their motorcycle number since everything happened very quickly. The cops have registered an FIR under Sections 420 and 34 of the IPC.
