On Wednesday, Shantinagar police arrested a 25-year-old man for stabbing a 21-year-old woman to death. The man stabbed the woman to death after she allegedly refused to have sex with him.
According to the Hindustan Times, the accused has been identified as Vikas Chourasia. Chourasia allegedly murdered the woman on February 4 at Shantinagar in Bhiwandi. The cops have said that Chourasia and the woman were in an extra-marital relationship. The woman on February 2 called Chaurasia to her home, but when the woman refused to have sex with him, he left the house.
Chourasia, on February 4, found that the woman was alone at home, so he went to her house and forced her to have sex. The woman refused which angered Chourasia. He was carrying a knife, with which he stabbed her in the neck and immediately fled the spot. The woman’s husband discovered her body in the evening when he returned home. He rushed her to the hospital where she was declared dead on arrival. “Three years ago, the woman and her husband left their home in Uttar Pradesh and came to Bhiwandi for a job. The husband got a job at a chemical factory and they had a one-and-a-half-year-old boy and another month-old baby,” a police officer told the leading daily.
The cops tracked Chourasia by his phone’s location after they found frequent calls were made between him and the woman. The cops arrested Chourasia and produced in court. The court has remanded him to police custody.
