Mumbai Crime: 50-year-old man kidnaps and kills daughter’s boyfriend

A 50-year-old man was arrested on Monday for allegedly kidnapping and killing a 26-year-old youth. The youth who was killed was the boyfriend of the man’s daughter.

According to Hindustan Times, the deceased was identified as Surendra Mishra and his body was found on Titwala railway tracks on July 15. The accused Rajendra Tiwari (50), an electronic engineer working for a private firm in Dubai, has also confessed to police over the killing of Mishra. After killing Mishra, Tiwari had fled to Dubai. Mishra and the woman lived in the same locality in Thane. On July 14, had told the woman that he was scared due to constant threats from her family and wanted to move to a new house.

Mishra received calls from an unidentified person, asking him if he wanted to see a room. After this, Mishra met Bhaskar Naringakr (67) and Ravi Ashok Choudhary (34) and reached the room. After reaching there, he found Tiwari was already present in the room and the three forced him to drink liquor, and also beat up Mishra. Later, he was taken to Kandivli railway station and was hit with a sharp weapon on the back of his head. And, they left him on the tracks. The police arrested Naringakr and Choudhary, and Tiwari was arrested from the Mumbai airport on Monday.
