On Tuesday, a sessions court in Mumbai denied bail of a 45-year-old woman, who is accused of molesting a 12-year-old boy from Bandra.
According to Hindustan Times, the court denied bail on the grounds that she might create fear in the mind of the survivor and his siblings. The court has also directed the cops to investigate the role of the boy’s mother who had allegedly shared the boy’s nude photo with the accused. The incident took place on January 5 when the boy and his two siblings were visiting his mother. The boy’s parents are separated and have split the custody of their three children.
On the day of the incident, as the boy’s mother was not at home, the accused (who is her neighbour) invited him to her house and molested him while he waited for an hour. The boy was disturbed and after returning home in Khar narrated the entire incident to his father, who is the complainant in the case. The boy’s father later lodged a police complaint. The cops later arrested the accused woman on January 6.
