Mumbai: Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Preeti Sharma Menon said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is clueless about how many trees in Aarey colony are going to cut down for Metro-III project.  Menon has approached almost all the political parties and has asked them about their stand towards ‘Save Aarey’ movement.

“Shiv Sena, Congress and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) have taken a stand and decided to support our movement on Aarey, but BJP has not come up with any answer, we will go back and ask people to vote on the basis of their answer,” she said.

Fadnavis has directed Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority to look into the issue and suggested Kalina as an option, but AAP is not happy.

“We have lost several trees in the name of development but it is ridiculous to make car shed for the metro project in the green lung of the city,” seh said.
