Mumbai: Three days after television actress Ruhi Singh was booked for allegedly misbehaving with police officers as well as for driving under the influence of alcohol in two separate incidents that occurred early on Monday morning, the local magistrate court rejected her anticipatory bail application on Thursday, Ruhi is reportedly absconding. According to sources, her bail application was rejected for a case registered at Khar Police station.
At around 2am on Monday, when Ruhi was on her way back home in a four-wheeler, after a party with her friends, Rahul and Swapnil, when they banged the door and began abusing the food outlet staffers, after which one of the staffers alerted the police control room.
When a police patrolling van reached the spot to intervene in the matter, the trio allegedly misbehaved with the police team and assaulted police, after which all the three were booked. Rahul and Swapnil were arrested immediately, but Ruhi was allowed to leave as a female accused can not be arrested after sunset.
