Mumbai: A day after the city’s Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar said there is “No Waterlogging”, while almost entire Mumbai is submerged in knee-deep water, the MNS have taken a dig at the mayor. The MNS has gifted spectacles with high power to Mahadeshwar, which would help him see the city's condition better. Moreover, the MNS also said, the other ministers who had similar claims of 'no waterlogging', a pair of spectacles would be delivered to their homes by courier services, said MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande.
On Monday, Mahadeshwar had said, “There is water logging in some areas of the city, but by and large Mumbai is not drowned. I had visited several areas in the city, but couldn’t find any such situation. I travelled between Bandra and Byculla but I didn't witness any water logging anywhere in the city. Office goers reached their offices on time and students went to schools and colleges." He even went on to say that he is a teacher and would not lie to the citizens.
