Mumbai : Three minors were arrested by Malad police for theft of 180 kgs of copper from a metal shop in Aradhna Shopping centre in the neighbourhood. The accused used to leave house in the morning with the school bag, and after day-long survey of soft preys, they then used to go to the spot at night and steal the stacked expensive metal.
The incident came to light when New Rajasthan meat shop located in Aradhna Shopping centre, found that around 180 kilograms of copper was missing from their shop. The owner immediately approached the Malad police and filed a complaint. During investigation, police picked up a minor who had committed a similar theft in 2014. During the interrogation, he confessed and told the cops that two of his friends were also involved in the crime.
