Mumbai : The minimum train passenger fare will go up from Rs 5 to Rs 10 as Indian Railways has decided to increase the minimum chargeable fare in non-suburban services to bring it on par with the platform ticket charge from November 20. However, this will be applicable only to second class non-suburban services  with an aim to bring down the rush on the platforms.
