Mumbai : The Central Railway will operate Mega Block on its suburban section on Sunday between Thane and Kalyan from 11 am to 4 pm.

Slow trains from CST will be diverted to fast track between Mulund and Kalyan and will halt at Thane and Dombivli. Trains will not stop at Kalva, Mumbra, Diva, Kopar and Thakurli but commuters are allowed to travel via Dombivli and Kalyan towards CST.

Fast trains towards Kalyan and beyond will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and fast trains towards CST at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla. There will be no trains from CST to Kurla and no trains will be available from Vadala to Bandra from 11.10 am to 3.10 pm.

Trains towards Bandra, Andheri from CST will not be available from 10.48 am to 3.33 pm and from Bandra and Andheri towards CST will be suspended from 10.40 am to 4.13 pm.

All services from CST to Panvel, Belapur and Vashi will be suspended from 10.52 am to 3.13 pm and will run via main line between CST and Kurla. These trains will not halt at Currey Road and Chinchpokli stations.

Harbour line passengers for Bandra and Andheri are permitted to travel via main line and Western Railway from 10 am to 5 pm.

The Western Railway will have a block between Santacruz and Goregaon from 10.35 am. to 3.35 pm on Sunday for trains towards Virar.

During the block period all trains from Churchgate and Virar will run on fast lines between Santacruz and Goregaon. Also 12-car slow services will take double halt at Vile-Parle on platforms No 3/4 on the fast corridor.
