Mumbai: Suburban train services will be affected due to mega blocks on the Western Railway (WR), Central Railway (CR) – Main and Harbour lines, on Sunday. On CR, slow trains leaving Thane for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) from 10.37 am to 3.21 pm will be diverted to the fast track between Matunga and Mulund stations, halting at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations. Similarly, fast and semi-fast trains leaving Kalyan between 11.04 am and 3.06 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations. All services will be delayed by 15 minutes. Trains leaving or arriving at CSMT between 11am and 6pm will run 10 minutes late.
On CR’s Harbour line, Vashi, Belapur and Panvel trains to and from CSMT between 10.34 am and 3.08 pm will be cancelled. However, special services will be run during the block period on the Panvel-Vashi and Kurla-CSMT sections. Harbour line passengers are permitted to use Main & Trans Harbour services from 10 am to 4.30 pm. Similarly, on the Western line, a mega block will be observed, from 9.56 am to 4.29 pm. Trains running between Mahim and Goregaon on the Harbour line and trains departing from CSMT to Bandra, Andheri and Goregaon will be cancelled from 9.56 am to 4.04 pm. Similarly, no trains will run from Bandra, Andheri and Goregaon towards CSMT, from 10.45 am to 4.29 pm.
