Mumbai: There will be a mega block on the Central Railway’s Main and Harbour lines for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday. There will be no mega block on the Western line. Semi-fast and slow trains leaving Mulund from 10.47 am to 3.50 pm will be diverted to the down fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations, halting at Thane, Diva and Dombivli stations and will arrive at their destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
Fast and semi-fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.37 am to 3.06 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive at their destination 15 minutes behind schedule. Fast and semi-fast trains leaving the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) from 10.05 am to 2.54 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations, in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive at their destination 20 minutes behind schedule.
The dismantling of the foot overbridge at the Kasara-end of Kalyan station will also be carried out during the block period.
All down and up slow locals leaving / arriving at CSMT from 10.30 am to 5 pm will arrive at their destination 15 minutes behind schedule. On the Harbour line, all down services from CSMT to Vashi / Belapur / Panvel from 10.34 am to 3.08 pm and all up services departing from Panvel / Belapur / Vashi towards CSMTfrom 10.21 am to 3.00 pm will remain cancelled. However, special services will be run during the block period on the Panvel-Vashi and Kurla-CSMT sections. Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via the Main line and the trans-Harbour line from 10am to 4.30pm.
