Bhayandar: In a bid to ensure complete awareness on the use of the Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) with Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) under the aegis o the Election Commission, has launched, Chunav Paathshala, ahead of the impending elections Lok-Sabha election.
Under this unique awareness drive, special teams comprising civic personnel armed with mobile EVM/VVPAT units have been deployed for various zones across the 145 (Mira Bhayandar ) and 146 (Ovala-Majiwada) assembly segments which come all under the Thane LS constituency.
