Aurangabad : The Aurangabad unit of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Tuesday raided a house in Selu in Parbhani district and arrested two men on the charge of illegally stocking and selling marijuana in their house. The entire stock of the banned narcotic, weighing 47 kg and valued at Rs 3.76 lakh, has been seized from them.

The duo has been identified as Shaikh Kaisar Shaikh Amir and Shaikh Sarwar Shaikh Kaisar (both residents of Rajeev Gandhinagar, Selu). A senior police inspector of ATS, PI Rajendrasingh Gour, received a tip-off about the illegal activity and, acting on it, swung into action. He raided their house, nabbed them and also seized the massive stock of marijuana and an electronic weighing scale.

They were brought to Aurangabad and produced in court on Wednesday.
