Man held with fake notes worth Rs 48,000 in Mankhurd

Mumbai: On Tuesday, crime branch officials from the Unit 6 arrested a 30-year-old man, Bhavesh Moleshi from Mankhurd Colony for possession of fake notes worth Rs 48,000 in the denomination of Rs 2,000. Acting on a tip-off from reliable sources, a police team had laid trap near Angel Communications shop in Mankhurd on Tuesday afternoon, around 2.30pm.  Upon suspicion, when police intercepted Moleshi, they recovered 24 notes of Rs 2,000 denomination and arrested him. Moleshi was booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
