Man held for wife’s murder

Mumbai : Arnala coastal police have arrested a man who killed his wife for refusing to cook food for him. According to Sandeep Shiwale, Assistant Police Inspector, the accused, Jadhav ,60, picked up a fight with his wife Tai Bhaskar Jadhav, 50, after she refused to cook food. In a fit of anger, he killed her, put the body in a gunny nag and dumped it in Manglwadi.

On September 15, police recovered the body following an alert. After the body was identified, they caught Jadhav who confessed that he committed the crime.

Tai is Jadhav’s second wife. Jadhav was remanded for five days in police custody.
