Mumbai : A major fire broke out at a catering shop in Kandivali West opposite the R/South ward office on Thursday evening around 6.30. The fire brigade sent eight fire engines, six water tankers and one ambulance to the spot, according to the fire control room.
It took the fire brigade close to three hours to bring the fire under control, even though no casualties or injuries were reported. The fire was finally doused at 9 pm.
