Palghar, Maharashtra: A 34-year-old man died after accidentally falling from the second-floor balcony of his residence in Nalasopara East. The deceased, identified as Alam Sikandar Mulani, was reportedly retrieving clothes that had been hung out to dry when he lost his balance and fell.

The incident took place on the evening of May 10 at Vindhyavasini Apartment in Nalasopara East. The victim’s brother, Arshad Sikandar Mulani (35), who lives in the same building, reported the accident to the Achole Police Station.

According to his statement, the victim was promptly taken to Tulinj Municipal Hospital for emergency treatment, but doctors declared him dead shortly after his arrival.

Police have ruled out any foul play based on the family’s account. Arshad Mulani confirmed that there is no suspicion of wrongdoing and that no complaint has been filed against anyone. A postmortem examination has been scheduled, and authorities have conducted the required inquest procedures. Achole Police are continuing to investigate the case as an accidental death.
