Mumbai: The Director of Medical Education and Research (DMER) has released the second selection (allotment) list for 2018 MBBS and BDS courses in Maharashtra. The results were released on Sunday and students need to report to the allotted colleges on or before August 18 for admission process.
Candidates who have registered for the allotment counselling can check the official website of DMER for the allocation list. The official website of the DMER is ‘www.dmer.org’. The first selection list was released on July 4. The second counselling process was delayed due to a ruling by Madras High Court, which was overturned by Supreme Court later and the process of counselling restarted.

- Go to official website of DMER i.e. ‘www.dmer.org’.
- Under ‘notifications’ section, find the link ‘NEET UG 2018 second list’ and click on it.
- A PDF document will appear. It has the names and roll numbers of all the candidates who have made it to the second selection list, along with the institution allotted to them.
The mop-up rounds will be conducted by DMER separately for MBBS and BDS students. The list of candidates selected for mop-up round for MBBS will be declared by DMER on August 21, and those selected will have to join the college on or before August 26. The mop-up rounds of BDS will be conducted on September 6 and those selected will have to report to the colleges on or before September 11.
