Mumbai: The state is well-equipped and prepared for the counting after the Lok Sabha elections.They will publish the real time action in public domain at the earliest through various means like — official website, mobile applications and helpline numbers that have been made available, said the state additional chief electoral officer Dilip Shinde.
Results for the 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra will be announced on Thursday, for which 38 counting centres have been set up. More than one lakh polling officials and 50,000 staff have been appointed. Similarly, the security agencies like police forces, quick response team have been deployed in key and sensitive areas, to maintain law and order.
Various facilities have been provided to the public for getting latest updates and information regarding the results. People can visit the Chief Electoral Officer’s website–https://ceo.maharashtra.gov.inor the Election Commission of India at https://results.eci.gov.in.
A one can also get the results by calling 1950 or the toll free number a voter helpline set up by the Chief Electoral Officer 02222040451/54. A control room too has been set up for the media by the ministry which will be operational round the clock.
