Lok Sabha elections 2019: Aaditya hits out at Raj Thackeray for supporting Congress-NCP, rules out alliance with MNS

On Monday, Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray hit out at uncle and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray for supporting the Congress-NCP. Aaditya claimed that MNS has changed its stand during the polls and ruled out any alliance with the party.

Aaditya was responding to a question from the audience at the Aaditya Sanvad programme in Worli, during which he said “We have not changed our ideas and our work for the past 30 years. Some parties keep changing who they support or who they oppose. There is no harm in going with those who do not change. Hence, we have gone with the BJP for the nation and for the people. We need an assurance that those who we ally with will not change next month,” reported the Indian Express.

The Aaditya Sanvad programme is Shiv Sena’s initiative to reach out to people in Mumbai. Conceptualised and designed by Prashant Kishor’s firm I-PAC, the town-hall style interaction will see Sena leader and Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray talk to the youth as part of Sena’s Lok Sabha campaign.
