Mumbai: Out of the 542, BJP-led alliance is leading in 340 seats, while Congress-led is leading in 90 plus seats. In over 105 BSP, Samajwadi and others are in the lead. Narendra Modi has won from Varanasi, Amit Shah from Gandhi Nagar. Rahul Gandhi has won from Wayanad, but lost from Amethi, his old bastion.
Sonia Gandhi from Rae Bareli, Assaduddin Owaisi from Hyderabad Telangana, Sunny Deol from Gurudaspur, Guatam Gambhir and Smriti Irani. Among the other winner Farooq Abdullah of National Conference won from Srinagar, Anurag Thakur frolm Hamirpur, Azam Khan from Rampur, Abhishek Bannerjee from Diamond Harbour.
Among the VIP leaders who lost, top shocker has been Ashok Chavan, the former chief minister of Maharashtra, in Nanded, followed by Sushilkumar Shinde, Parth Pawar and few others.
