The prestigious annual conference JRHCON 2025 was held recently at Western Railway’s Jagjivan Ram Zonal Hospital, Mumbai. Organized by Scientific Association of Medical Organization JRH and Indian Railway Association of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians, the conference themed "Transforming Women's Health Through Multidisciplinary Approach" was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Man Singh, DG/Rly Health Services. The event was successfully executed under the guidance of Dr. Konda Anuradha, Principal Chief Medical Director/Western Railway, and leadership of Dr. Mamta Sharma, Medical Director/JRH.

According to  Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Vineet Abhishek, the JRHCON 2025 conference was a resounding success, addressing the timely and relevant theme of "Transforming Women's Health Through Multidisciplinary Approach". The two-day event drew around 250 delegates, including 11 Principal Chief Medical Directors, who shared knowledge, engaged in discussions, and promoted advancements in women's health. Eminent speakers shared their expertise, with Dr. Nandita Palshetkar delivering the prestigious Dr. Phani Dhar Oration on “Advance in Infertility management”. A free paper and poster competition showcased 11 papers and 33 posters, highlighting rich research in Railway Health set up.

During his visit, Director General of Railway Health Services inaugurated the newly renovated Modular Orthopaedic and Eye Operation Theater at Jagjivan Ram Hospital, marking a significant upgrade to the hospital's infrastructure. This state-of-the-art facility aims to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes. The hospital has received praise for its cutting-edge health facilities, particularly for railway beneficiaries. Notably, Jagjivan Ram Hospital has achieved the prestigious National Accreditation Board for Hospitals certification, setting a high standard for healthcare excellence.

Vineet  further stated that the conference offered a unique platform for collaboration, networking, and learning in the dynamic field of women's health. Highlight of the event was a captivating cultural program, expertly curated by JRH's in-house team under the guidance of PCMD Dr. Anuradha Konda, which received widespread appreciation from all delegates.
