Mumbai: At a press conference on monday, state education minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader, Vinod Tawde alleged Indian National Congress candidate, Urmila Matondkar and her party workers for beating up people who cried slogans favouring Prime Minister, Narendra Modi during a “Railyatri Campaign” at Borivali Railway Station earlier in the morning.

Tawde stated that politics is not any film, where everything will happen according to her script, in a democracy people are bound to raise their voices and ask questions. Matondkar, will be contesting the Loksabha elections from the North Mumbai constituency of Mumbai.

This will be her maiden stint on the political venture. On the allegations made by Ashok Chavan, against BJP at the Nanded Loksabha, Tawde said that like every other members of the party, Congress is leading him astray so it doesn’t matter what he speak and BJP has no intention to take credit of the achievements of the armed forces and use it as a trump card for the upcoming elections.

It’s only because of politicians like Sharad Pawar who keep on asking about the authenticity of air strikes carried out by the soldiers, we have to reiterate these facts repeatedly to the media.
