Mumbai : An improved version of the widely used m-Indicator was unveiled on Thursday for easing the complexity of the criss-cross and densely populated local trains most aptly called the lifeline of the city. The new version has some handy features instilled for the users including a segregation of timings of the fast trains from the slow trains along with details of the platform on which they arrival is expected at a particular station.
The application will also take care of the side on which the platform at a particular station will arrive. There is also live train status available of the trains which will be made possible using inputs from commuters travelling in a particular train. Sachin Tekke, founder of m-Indicator, said, “The live status of a train will be made available through source gathering which will be done using the feedback we will get from commuters in a particular train.”
