Mumbai : IIT Bombay’s annual science and technology festival, Techfest, which creates a visual spectacle year after year, continued its amazing start with more than 1,10,000 people attending the event on Day 1 and Day 2 .
Techfest has established itself as Asia’s largest science and technology festival, patronised by UNESCO and UNICEF, and comprising mainly youngsters from across the nation. It has an outreach of over 2,500 colleges from across India and over 500 from overseas
The main attraction on Day 2 was the lecture by the Nobel Laureate in physics, Prof. Serge Haroche, and Alexis Arts, who’s created a Guinness world record six times.
Apart from that, there were also competitions, summits, workshops and exhibitions held on the second day of the fest.
