As KDMC poll campaigns draw to a close, Raj and Uddhav take potshots at each other, and the BJP
Mumbai : In the last leg of the campaigning for the Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation elections, both the Thackeray brothers are busy criticising each other and the BJP government.
On Thursday, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray criticised the Shiv Sena-BJP governance in the state and at the Centre.
While campaigning for the KDMC polls, he alleged that the current state government is following in the footsteps of congress government and said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is not doing anything without asking Delhi. “Fadnavis is not taking any decision without consulting the Central government,” he said.

Raj criticised PM Narendra Modi over his foreign tours. Modi and the BJP were sure that there will be ‘Acche Din’ in next 100 days, Raj said. “But the government completed one year and the state government is going to complete one year, where are the Acche Din gone?”
While Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said at a rally at Kalyan that the BJP became a larger party only because of the Hindutva adopted by the Shiv Sena.
While attacking Raj Thackeray, he didn’t take his name. He said, “Some people came here for votes. They gave example of Nashik corporation and asks the voters to give votes,” he said.
Civic election in Kalyan Dombivali is scheduled on Sunday (November 1). Friday is the last day for the campaigns.
