Ask Muslim youth and religious leaders to join in
Mumbai : Certain Hindu outfits have decided to start a nation-wide agitation and have launched a website, indiaagainstislamicstate.com, in order to create awareness in the nation against terrorism. They have also appealed to Muslim youth to support them in the cause.
Pramod Mutalik, the president of Sriram Sena, also appealed to all Muslim religious leaders to join them in the initiative.
Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, Hindu Advocate Forum, Hindu Makkal Katchi and Sriram Sena launched the website on Friday.
Mutalik said they are starting the website to organise the youth against terrorism. “To create awareness among the youth and to unite them, we are launching a website. We are not against Islam or any religion. But the youth are being misguided in the name of jihad. That is a threat for the country,” he said.
“The Muslim youth are not guided in a proper way and terrorist organisations are using them for their cause, which is not right. India has enlightened the entire world with a supreme human culture, which is being eclipsed by a jihadi terrorist force. We facing a more frightful proposition in the form of Islamic State (IS) than Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, encroachment by Bangladeshi intruders and separatism in Kashmir. The jihadi organisation, IS, has started a war to establish itself across the world,” he said.
“This organisation is indulging in inhuman activities such as the mass killing of innocent civilians, the rape of minor girls and selling them in the flesh market, and destruction of historical heritage. They have published a map depicting the Islamic World, in which India is included by declaring it as a part of the ‘Khurasan State’. Youth from all over the world are queuing up to join the jihadi organisation, and even youngsters from India are among them,” he said.
However, the youth from all sections have to cooperate with the Army to tackle terrorism at the social level and also to create an awareness about unity among the youth, Mutalik claimed.
