HC Notice To Paraskar Over Bail

Mumbai : The Bombay High Court on Friday issued a notice to the suspended Deputy Inspector General of police Sunil Paraskar on a petition seeking quashing of the anticipatory bail granted to him in a case against for alleged rape. A Mumbai-based model, who had filed a case of rape against Paraskar earlier this year, has filed the petition. Justice Sadhana Jadhav issued the notice to Paraskar and posted the petition for arguments on December 3. A special women’s court had granted anticipatory bail to Paraskar three months ago.
