Mumbai : The BJP government in the state has undermined rules in the appointment of several ‘Officers on Special Duty’ (OSDs), the NCP has alleged on the eve of the government’s completion of one year in office.
Naming six OSDs in the chief minister’s office, NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik said that the appointments of these officials have been made by undermining the constitutional provisions and the rules regarding the appointment of officials in the state government.
He also pointed out that the Madras High Court has ruled against the appointment of officials in this manner.
