Bhayandar : A 28-year-old man was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants in the by-lanes behind a shopping centre in Bhayandar (east) late on Friday night.
According to police information, the deceased, identified as Sujit Anandi Gupta (28), was a resident of Salasar Nagar in Bhayandar. A readymade garment vendor in Dadar, Gupta was returning home when he was brutally stabbed to death by unidentified assailants.
A case under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered in the Navghar police station.
