Mumbai: A large number of first-time voters were unable to vote as they could not find their names on the electoral list at polling stations across the state and it dampe-ned the enthusiasm amongst this segment of the electorate. A similar experience was for Zahir Khan, 22-years-old, when he arrived at St Joseph High School in Umarkhai with his voters ID card and to his dismay, he had to search in vain for his name on the voter’s list.  -Staff Reporter
