Mira Bhayandar  : The body of a Mira Road-based real property dealer who had gone missing last week was recovered under highly mysterious circumstances from a beach near Vasaigaon late on Sunday evening.  The deceased who was later identified as-Deepak Kumar Jha (31) operated from the office of Klick Deal-a real estate agency firm located in the Poonam Estate area of Mira Road.

A missing person report had been filed at the Kashimira police station. The Palghar district police were informed about the body of man floating in the Suruchi Baug beach on Sunday evening.

Police ascertained the identity of the deceased on the virtue of a debit card and PAN card which was found in his possession. ” Going by the decomposition level of the body, it appears that he might have died more than four days ago.

Prima facie it appears to be a case of death due to drowning, however we are awaiting the post-mortem report to confirm the same.” said, Police Inspector-Sampatrao Patil. As of now a case of accidental death case has been registered at the Tulinj police station. Further investigations are on.
