ESI will provide all med facilities to working class, says Union Minister

Bandaru Dattatreya opens ESI hospital in Kandivali

Mumbai : Bandaru Dattatreya, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Labour and Employment, announced that ESI Corporation will provide all medical facilities to working class in the organised sector as well as for the un-organised sector like construction site workers, domestic workers, auto-rickshaw drivers and many more while laying the foundation stone of ESIC Nagar, near D.N. Nagar, Andheri (W) on Monday.

The minister later inaugurated the 300-bedded ESI Hospital at Kandivali and further informed the gathering about the 2nd generation reforms undertaken by ESIC recently like launching of Abhiyan Indradhanush.

He also announced the construction of 200-bedded ESIC Hospital at Butibori, Nagpur and requested Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to provide 5 acres of land for this Hospital.

Fadnavis, assured the minister for providing the land for construction of ESIC Hospital at Butibori.

Mayor Snehal Ambekar, MPs Gajanan Kirtikar and Chandrakant Khaire and others were also present on this occasion.
