Mumbai : On their way for a Sunday outing to Matheran, the tourists had to return back after the toy train connecting Neral to Matheran derailed at 12:38 pm. While the railways claim that it was not a derailment but a failure of the engine, no services were operated following the disruption. The tourists were compelled to get off at Juma-patti and walk back where they were given refund for their tickets.
