Mumbai: Four days after an HR manager of a textile company was arrested for embezzling Rs 95 lakh from a textile company, MIDC police have began a search for his accomplices – three junior employees of the company. Three teams were formed and sent to Hyderabad, Pune and Gujarat to nab them.

According to police sources, three employees of the company — the chief accountant, head accountant and the accounts assistant of the company — are suspected to be a part of the fraud. The investigation has revealed, authorised signatures of all three employees was used to push forward the accounts documents of the two former employees, whose salary was siphoned off by Borade for seven years.”MIDC police have already formed three teams to nab the accused men and dispatched a team to Hyderabad, Gujarat and Pune.

Nitin Alaknure, senior police inspector of MIDC police station said, “We suspect the roles of three employees of the accounts department, as without their authorisation the con pulled off by Borade would not have been possible. A lookout for them has been initiated and investigation is underway.”
