Mumbai : Remembering his uncle, Ashok Pendharkar of the Vicco Laboratories who passed away recently, Sanjeev Pendharkar, director Vicco Labs, says that Ashok kaka always sought his father’s advice and took his blessings. “Being the younger brother of Gajananrao Pendharkar, Ashokkaka always respected and loved his elder brother,” says Sanjeev. As he was talking about Ashokkaka’s relationship with his elder brother, Sanjeev remembers a line he had said once, he said, “I feel like I am visiting in a temple when I come to meet Gajubhau in his room.”
“What devotion!” exclaims Sanjeev. Talking about their joint family, Sanjeev said that Ashokkaka was a man who believed in close family ties and joint families. “He was a binding force and all of us recognised his great virtues and will miss them now that he is no more,” Sanjeev said.
Talking about his professional skills, Sanjeev said that Ashokkaka had handled everything after he was put in charge of his Dombivli manufacturing unit. “He was a successful executive with a human touch,” said Sanjeev. Sanjeev added that Ashokkaka was a great man and that the family saluted his memories.
