Mumbai: Thanks to the shoddy repair work done by Central Railway officials, the Harbour line services were stalled again when the overhead wire tripped for the second day in a row on Tuesday. 54 services were cancelled as the CR took two hours block to fix the overhead wire that was entangled in the pantograph of a train. The over head wire at the same spot which tripped on Monday got entangled in the pantograph on Tuesday. A two-hour block had to be taken from 11:55 to 2:15 to fix the overhead wires. Trains on the Harbour line were running with a delay of almost one-and-half-hour. There were no services between Vadala to CST up to 2.15 pm and trains were operated on the mainline between Kurla and CST and diverted Mukesh Nigam, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) said, “An internal inquiry has been ordered in to the matter. The Senior Section Engineer (SSE) has been suspended until further notice.”
