Bhayandar : At least 21 construction labourers including five women and three child workers were injured after the wall of an under construction industrial unit in Rashid Compound, located in the Bakolpada area near Virar Phata on the Mumbai-Ahmadabad National Highway (under the jurisdiction of Valiv police in Vasai) collapsed at about 10:00 am on Tuesday. 

While the condition of two workers identified Pravita Pagi (15) and Mithun Bhawar (19) is said to be serious and are recuperating at a hospital in Mumbai, all other injured have been admitted to the Golden Park Hospital in Vasai, police said.
Around 35 people were working at the under construction site when the mishap took place.
Prima-facie investigations revealed that the industrial units were being illegally constructed by two local slum lords of the region.
The injured include-Hari Varagade (35), Bharat Kamlakar Kakra (23), Sadhu Kalu More (45), Subhash (30), Sachin (17), Rajesh (16), Bharat Yashwant Andher (18), Salman (15), Geeta Annana Pange (19), Shantaram Vilakadu (21), Jayesh (24), Geeta Watha (13).
